Well, there are several arguments that I would like to raise about that:

  1. I don't really care. If someone lawyer starts complaining, I'll remove it
  2. It's going to be free. When I'm done fixing some crappy orientation bugs on iOS 9
  3. In the end, I just wanted to create something -as beautiful as I could-. As NO ONE around here wants to work with me (GFX designers in general, but, again, I really don't care about it either), I decided to rip absolutely everything.

So, just consider it as an expression like Art with stolen ink and brushes!

And, as soon as it's out, try to get it as fast as you can before Apple removes it.

That the guy jumps all the time? How about tilt-controlled left and right, and touch (anywhere) to jump?

Actually this is not bad. Could say this is a new type of platformer. It is retro allright, still haven't seen a game quite like it before Smile

How did you do it? Don't tell me you coded it all in assembly Wink

Hi, sorry, I'm not checking MRC too often lately.
No, its coded in Objective C and OpenGL ES using an old framework myself and Trevor did some time ago (~2009/10).

With over 1.5 Million different apps @ the App store, it is almost impossible to grab some $$$ there anymore.

In the end, its a mix of:
1) Product with viral effect (you telling a friend about it)
2) Some SEM/Social investment to trigger 1

Game does not have enough 1 to make 2 worth.
Should generate ~5.6 USD per month, or, around $ 119 in 2 years (NPV 1%).
