Talking about commercial market, some information for those who purchased "Life on mars" but still do not have a moonsound/opl4 compatible;
Once more I remind everyone that ericb59 (another of our pillars in this comunity) can create opl4 cartridges on demmand, and at the lowest price (as far as I know).
He calls them "fm blaster" and I realized when I recomended this opl4 to many "Life on mars" buyers that the name is missleading, and I actually had to make an effort to convince them that this small cartridge is in fact an opl4, not an fm pac.
If you are interested, contact with ericb59 for more details.
I am interested in this Moonsound / Ericb59 OPL4 that could develop if it is reasonably priced . Where I can get more information on this?
I think i want a digital version too! (If possible) I like the hardware but i prefer just a ROM.

Hi to all.
I'm back again.
As I already said, my "please send me" list was a provocation. And I must say It worked.
13 pages of posts in a couple of day, not bad at all!!
Let me say a couple of thing.
In the 80s I was an happy owner of a YC-64 and a NMS-8255 some years after. It was an epic period for my beloved MSX and I buyed tons of tapes and Floppy. I remember MSX2 was not so supported here in Italy, but with a teacher of mine who loved MSX too we used to buy DiscStations and many other things directly from Japan. My favourite game was Laser Squad. I Bought a nice BOX with the italian version and I played it hundreds of time. I started to love Strategy games in that period.
Now, after so many years, with all my MSX stuff wasted somewhere forever, I don't feel myself guilty to download TOSEC archives with Laser Squad and many other titles, because in the 80s I was an MSX users (a real MSX user, as some orthodox and extremist people here like to say).
Please, be honest: which of you nowaday uses to play only
- dumped roms
- of real cartridges you still have now
- and nothing else, neither .rom of games you owned years ago ?
I prepared the "SEND ME LIST" simply copying many titles here and there to force everybody to understand the reasons of people like Mars2000
It can't be acceptable that someone nowaday consider peolple who use emulators in 2015 a non msx-user when in the 80s we were it, maybe years before some of you all !!!
Now, after so many provocations by me, it would be nice to provide a msx.org section where authors can promote DV version of their software
Let's change the list to the "DV AVAILABLE GAME LIST"
Let's try (please, change and modify it as you want if I made any mistake)
- Lilo @ €.9,00
- Nuts @ €.9,00
- No Name @ €.9,00
- Breakfree
- Profanation MSX2
- Atomix
- Carmen Sandiego
- Blinky Scary School
- MineSX
- Transyvalnia III
- Sd-Snatcher English re-translation patch
- Princess Quest (the Colecovision version)
- Uridium (full version) (maybe it will come in free version)
- Caos Begins
- Life on MARS @ €.15,00
- Illusion city Intro remake
@ kai, sorry, but I don't like games like Lilo or Nuts. But I will buy Life on Mars ASAP. May I pay you with Paypal?
Giuseve, I don't buy it.
Now you say this was just a provocation. I don't buy it. Does anyone here really buy it?
Regarding your statement that you removed Lilo and Nuts from the list because you do not like those kind of games, well, I do not buy it either. You did not remove No Name, and you still have not contact us to make the legal purchase.
NYYRIKKI, thank you for your kind words. All is forgotten on my side.
I just wish to clarify the "complain what you do to your paying customer computers (especially 64K machines)", I do not know what you mean exactly. I guess you meant the moonblaster replayer bug that prevented wx and wsx users to play the game.
If that is the case, I am happy to let you know that Manuel Pazos fixed the bug just a few days after our last email, and No Name, Nuts and Life on mars work correctly on 64k computers.
Best regards:
Oscar Kenneth
edoz, I just responded to your private email but it has been returned.

About Booming Boy sales: it may be related that the game is not very original, as we have seen several good Bomberman clones the last 20 years... That doesn't mean the game is bad, but for me this was the reason not to buy it.
