These things are kind of open:
- the PPI/key_ghosting_sgc_protected tag
- check on PPI/code_kana_locks and PPI/graph_locks tag
- VDP I/O port mirroring
- serial number of the machine we're basing the config on (for reference)
- Z80 type or other IC's types when they're different from the pics on the MSX.org wiki
- ideally: an EPROM dump of the ROM chip
Photos are here.
CAPS/KANA lock (led in the key)
Serial: 205243
CPU: DA780C-1
VDP: TMS9118NL
Engine: S3527
I will check ghosting on HB-10 and HB-11 (HB-10 also seems unconfirmed). HB-10 config mentions discrete PSG but it has S3527 so that config may need some recheck.
Yes it does, thanks!
The HB-11 firmware includes an easter egg (S+P
or Y+P
during boot), a hidden text "A Yellow Panther Production MCMLXXXV", and 7 alternative MSX-BASIC fonts (CALL FONT (n)
).

Hi. Dumped Sanyo PHC-28P using tinyslot and carnivore 2 to save it into dsk.
https://mega.nz/file/yVFDwLoK#Den0FeTWFdL_P9aBRZTlnw-T8ymdnG...
Please confirm is correctly dumped.
Is it a PHC-28P ES or GE ?
Same ROM as PHC-28S, so it can only be the PHC-28P (SP) - QWERTY without ñ key (but a £ key) as you can see in the wiki
ES.
No Ñ.
:; instead ñ
I see a £ key on this picture:
Maybe you have a different version?
Yes. Edited.
