Really, you can drag them back into the main window. But as I said before, drag BELOW the Windows title bar!

Here's a short demo of some other project: https://youtu.be/9PwBGFoc-LY?t=304 See how they drag it BELOW the window title bar?

Nah, does not work that way. No highlighting, it is just dead. How can I reset it to initial state? Where's config file located?

Damn, the link doesn't work with the time index... Check at 5:04.
It takes a bit of trouble to find the correct place to dock. But it really is possible...

Cannot at all associate what I see with what you show. There's no free space to receive tool window drop that way. So I can suggest there could be pixel hunting, but not so many choices what to hunt, so I'd snapped it already, if it could be possible. Maybe it is better you to show with openmsx-debugger to be on same wave?

Oh wow.... so if you not click and drag on the top of the floating window, but on the line below it there is actually some snapping mechanism at work (I needed to look really carefully on the recording to notice that).

However, on Windows 10 the snapping positions are sometimes wrong and it is even possible to have a couple of window panes overlap and cause graphical glitches because snapped windows are overwriting each other. Also, if you snap a window into place, you cannot unsnap it anymore. Minimizing and maximizing the entire debugger seems to 'fix' that.

(Tested on Windows 10, openMSX debugger 0.10.0-268-g0dd0373).

(btw, openMSX debugger 0.10.0-268-g0dd0373 also opens an additional black console window for no apparent reason).
