Thought I'd post some early footage of my first game created for the MSX1
YouTube
I normally make ZX Spectrum games with AGD, but as MPAGD has MSX now I can finally make more colourful games without colour clash.
I've taken what I've learned from my first two Speccy games and mashed them into this.

Duckstroma should release by end of 2020 for ZX/MSX/NES/Amiga.

Very nice!!! What type of gameplay are you targeting? puzzle? or more adventury?

It's a platformer with backtracking/collect items/light combat (jumping on enemies), not really adventure as I'm limited to 30 screens.

Cool, also looking forward to seeing more!! The "egg" mechanic looks interesting, I am assuming this will be some sort of weapon? And wow, releasing in 4 platforms sounds ambitious!

The egg is mainly used for traversal, but it may also be used to hurt enemies if dropped on them (if I can get that to work).
As for multiple machine releases, I'm a glutton for punishment and will have lots of fun playtesting them all Crazy

hahaha, I would be particularly scared of the Amiga version! Looks like it'll be a lot of work to re-do the assets for Amiga! haha

Some more progress, mainly testing screen layouts for traversal and placing enemies.

So there's also an AGD compiler for NES?, how mature is it?, can't see it officially listed as a supported platform. Way cool!

No AGD compiler for NES, the NES version is built using NESmaker
