In case you do not want to collect original cartridges the cheapest solution is to buy a flash rom where you can load the rom dumps of the original games
Look for Eric Boez or Manuel Pazos sites

Ah, OK, now I understand. Well, I want to collect original cartridges, but as you already know they are too expensive. I was planning on getting a Mega Flash Rom anyway, but not the one with the extra 512K. So, even without the extra RAM, if I dumped ROMS in this cartridge I still wouldn't need more than 128K?

Yes, no original game on rom will ever ask for more of 128kB
Any flash cartridge where the rom fits will be fine
Naturally you will get scc audio only if included in the flash rom you choose

Well, but that wouldn't solve the RAM problem, right?

Yes but you can also upgrade the ram to 4Mo
for original floppy games 128K RAM is ok
for cartridge games 64k RAM is ok
just the best floppy games required a 720k FDD
game in 360K FDD is poor Wink

If you buy an MFRSDD+SD 512KB, both the RAM and the 360KB drive issue will be solved. It has SCC+, an integrated 512KB of RAM and can emulate floppy disks pretty well. This means that machine could even be driveless and it would still be fine.
