Loading DSK images on OneChip MSX

I've had an ESE OneChip MSX for many years now. I love it but I've only ever used it play real cartridges.

I recently decided to try loading dsk images from the in-build SD slot but I can't figure out how to do it. I've been following the guide here but I must admit that I'm totally lost and can't get my head around it.

Is there anyone here who's managed to do this and can make it simple for me?

The guide looks good. You just want to use ep.com thing. Which bit do you get stuck on?

Precisely that part. It's not clear at all how to use the ep.com program

I've copied the program to the SD card but when I type in one of the suggested EP command lines, I just get a syntax error.

Honestly, the guide is not clearly written at all and it feels like it's taking for granted that I understand something that has not been written down. I'm totally lost.

Syntax Error is an error in the Basic environment. EP.COM needs to be exectuted in the MSX-DOS environment.
Copy MSXDOS.SYS and COMMAND.COM to your SD card (MSXDOS2.SYS and COMMAND2.COM if you use MSX-DOS2).

When you're on the DOS prompt, you're already close to run the one-size-fits-all solution: Sofarun.

It's quite easy. With all KdL's firmware you have the tools to create a basic SD bootable. Simply add SOFARUN and you can play ROMs, DSKs and even CAS.
