Sorry to hear that viejo. You're even included in the manual "Special Thanks" section. Your real name of course, because of our discussion about logging psg registers using openmsx script. I ended up using the standard output plus a C program to transform it into a smaller format...

Well, I tried to give several tips that it was a joke.:
1) "And it's not the demo version!!!!!" - there's not a demo version...
2) "So now, one of the 0 (zero) people who bought it is distributing it" - That's not possible! Big smile
3) "You see, those games sales is what helps to pay for my FOOD!" - Hopefully I have a job, but If I didn't It wouldn't be developing home-made software for a 20+ years old platform that only a small number of enthusiasts (like us) would pay for something related to it.
4) "
I'll leave FOREVER, I'll throw my Turbo-R at the trashcan, along with all my original MSX games..." - Can you believe on that? There's an electric fence surrounding my A1ST!
5) And finally, about Montezuma's new conversion (better sound), two friends already have it, the only reason it's not online yet is because MäSäXi asked for a new opening sequence! Big smile (well, I need to test it a little better too)...

BUT, THE REAL REASON IS:

I tend to be a very very temperamental person. And what really really makes me upset was seeing the following:
1) several new free marvelous stuff for MSX in the latest years, like: All MSXDev releases, two "almost perfect" emulators: Blue and OpenMSX and etc... Softwares that I know took an enormous amount of hard work to develop and maintain.
2) The guy "you know who", converts a COLECO game (that's copyrighted) to MSX, keeps saying that it will release the ROM to the community, does not, and from time to time, keeps sending messages to the community saying that will "abandon" the scene forever! Because of what??? Because he found his game on a torrent or eMule!!!???? Gee, Microsoft is what it is because of piracy... How many other examples should we need?
3) I was TOO pissed off, because I wanted to try the games, the same way I tried "The Cure" or "Malaika" for example. I WOULD NEVER EVER PAY FOR A ROM FILE!. That's my opinion of course, but I would be very pleased to buy, for example, a boxed collectors edition of "The Cure" which I really really liked.

Well, I'm not asking to be loved here. I tend to like a lot the behavior of most of you guys in Europe and U.S. who always tend to help instead of being jealous or thinking that the person is trying to prejudice you.
But I HAD to do that. to send a message to the "you know who" pseudo-developer. It took me some weeks to convert tutankham, but some guys are witness that at the beginning I was trying to remember what ORG $4000 was for, z80 general syntax and etc...

okay, COOL.

But uhrm... The main player only shoots to the LEFT. Bug?
I'm using Trubo-R emulation on BlueMSX.

coleco had two fire buttons: They're emulated on space and M. One shoots to the left, other to the right.
http://www.axess.com/twilight/console/detail/coleco.jpg

numbers of the keypad are emulated on:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0, -, =

I tested on Turbo-R inside Blue MSX, I remember working perfectly.

Be aware, that the game's logic is about only shooting left and right, not up and down.

Ro: Use space and keyboard "M" to fire, one key is for shoot left and another, for shoot right.

BTW, It would be really nice if we find the bugs before sending the ROM to Bitwise or Matra! Big smile

I just remember that the palette is different in MSX2 machines. In my opinion looks worse.
It shouldn't be tough to adjust it, or to use the popular "Cool Colors"...
What do you guys think?

Well, IMHO you could either include these features:

(1) When game detects it's being booted on an MSX2 or higher, pallette will be adjusted to resemble a certain "standard" of the MSX1 pallette.
(2) Use a totally new, custom pallette on "higher" machines (maybe even slightly modified tiles?).

well, (1) would not take too much effort to make. I'll try to do it before sending the ROM for the cartridges.

(2) - About using modified tiles, I'm not very familiar with 9938 or 9958 capabilities. Plus I'm terrible with creation of graphics and music. But maybe a "special msx2 edition" in the future...

*PS* You're successful using the M key?
Anyone is trying to use it in a real MSX? mtini made some tests with execrom, but that's all...

Well, there are enough nutcases around who would actually sincerely mean such things Tongue. It's the MSX scene we're talking about, remember? Wink

np muffie, sorry for my last angry answer. It was just that I got really angry reading that you've been pissed off, and when you've said it was just a joke, I got a bit puzzled about it, that's all... keep on your good development stuff, but please do not scare me again like this! Tongue
btw, did we really talked about that stuff? man, my memory suck! Eek!
