I've troubles running Micro Cabin games from my Sunrise CF interface (Xak, Fray TR, ect..)
I'm using FDE.com and Start.com, is there a better program I should use or is there an other trick ?
CF interface is great for storing files but not for playing disk images.
MMC / SD from sharksym is perfect and I believe (don't know) that Nowind also handles it pretty well. Allthough you need to have your PC switched on
With IDE interface and only if you have a turboR you can use HDEMU too. I think there is a new DSK loader based on start.com (I can't remember the name but sure someone here can say something more about it).
For MMC interface you can also use MMCEP.COM (I think this is the most complete tool to load DSKs I've ever tested).
For MegaSD interface you can use EP.COM (the same as in MegaSCSI or in ESE System 3).
With IDE you are out of luck, AFAIK Microcabin games won't load even with HDEMU or RUNIT (start.com mod). You will need a SCSI or MMC interface to achieve that. The SD slot of OCM uses SCSI.
I think some of the Microcabin games were working... but remember that most of games won't work with HDEMU if you don't create the DSKs from the original disks with this program (it creates two files, the game and a header with information about copy protections). Anyway, just try it and see if it works, I don't really remember.

I tried Fray with Nowind and noticed something strange. Fray seems to need at least two drives installed. When I insert fray0.dsk, Nowind installs only one drive and Fray crashes. By enabling the romdisk or inserting a second image, it does work. I also tried booting with CTRL in BlueMSX and the game didn't start.
Kwik: many MicroCabin games require a boot WITHOUT [CTRL]. Seems strange, 'cause there is a whole range of other programs which explicitly require booting with [CTRL].
