This one’s not for the faint of heart. No, sir! This so called “tactical simulation” is quite hardcore. In the same vein as your typical text adventure game, Global Ordnance depends on text input. You are to man a forgotten, old, and deactivated defense station and ward off incoming attacks as well as it goes.

Yes. Very hardcore. The manual really comes handy. Real planetary defenders do need instructions.

Hehe yeah I really need the manual, I couldn't get anything going without it. Looks interesting though! Hope to find time to dive a bit into it.

Nice concept. Some minor improvements. Add the following in BASIC:

SCREEN ,,0: REM disables keyboard click (by default, not muted in most MSX1 machines)
POKE &HFCAB,1: REM forces caps lock (no need to check it, does not change caps led)

Unusual for an MSX game, I think. But for this game, better 30 pages of manual than 1 page. I'd guess the jury members, whoever they will be, will also agree.
