On the website of MSX Association an MSX-BASIC programming competition has been announced. The objective of the contest is to create a BASIC listing that is no longer than 5 screens at WIDTH 40 when listed. Games, demo's, music and utilities are all allowed, and so are international entries. The winner of this programming contest will be announced in ASCII's upcoming MSX Magazine 3. There is little time to complete the entries, however as the deadline of this contest is set on November 1st.
As a reminder we'd also like to let you know that Bernard Lamers, one of the editors of MSX Magazine 3 could use some help in gathering information on MSX in Russia and MSX in Arabic countries. If you have any information on this, please have a look at this newspost.
The programming contest has also lead to an interesting nomination for the MSX in the Media challenge, as none other than Slashdot Japan wrote an article it, which has been added to the list of nominees.
Did you get or spot MSX in the media? Send the evidence to msxmedia@msx.org and we will add it to the list of nominees!
