The fMSX emulator for Android has been updated once again. Changes since we last reported about this emu:

  • Now saves screenshots and shows them when selecting a file
  • Improved virtual keyboard
  • On-screen joystick now fully usable inside builtin menus
  • Fixed display and audio settings that sometimes were ignored on startup
  • Added option to save screenshots on exit (enabled by default)
  • Added option to record music to a MIDI file
  • Added initial accelerometer support
  • Bigger, easier to press on-screen corner buttons
  • Some on-screen cues shifted to the right for better visibility
  • Sony Xperia Play buttons are fully supported now
  • Fixed sync frequency computation for more precision
  • Fixed TV scanlines effect that got applied to more pixels than needed
  • Fixed file selector to keep screenshots at the same size
  • Fixed About dialog to prevent it from reopening on rotation
  • Automatic save-state on exit
  • Improved virtual joystick layout
  • Fixed a bug with file names containing spaces not being open
