Ha salido una nueva version del fmsx ds, la version 0.06 con soporte para supercard SD. Le falta muy poco para ir a full speed. Voy a guardar el philips en el armario y a jugar desde la cama ;)

It's released a new version of fmsx ds, the 0.06 version includes Supercard SD support. It lacks a bit for running at full speed. I am going to save my Phillips MSX in the closet and play from the bed ;)

tried it, sound's improved (still crackling, but a huge improvement), and indeed support for savestates and tape images (havent tried those yet).

tip: instead of using msx2 roms, try msx2+ roms and rename them; that way the emu will run in NTSC mode instead of PAL and run a bit faster because of it.
It makes some games run at PAL speed on NTSC mode Wink

Timofonic: supercard support was introduced in version 0.05, although back then there were two seperate versions of the emu... Wink

I may be wrong here, but I think previously the support was to supercard CF only, and now it has supercard SD. These are different hardwares with different APIs.

The page that has the NDS Supercard information on it reeks of copyright infringements.

Weird.

I figured the MRC was strict on that sort of thing?

what thingy did you think the copyright infringments?
I thought fmsxds's page has no infomation about copy commercial products.
and no included any copied games infomation or itself.

or you have something reason(or basis) to say it?

no, not the fmsxDS site, but the site with information about the supercard in a link in timofonic's post.

As we have stated multiple times throughout the website, the MRC does indeed have strict policies, but we also have defended our policy of reporting on news we feel has enough news value, even though reporting on that news means we have to link to websites or software that do not comply entirely to the MRC policies, to several parties. Although we might have to take a step back one day, these policies have not gotten us in trouble so far. Apart from that, given the fact that the MRC Foundation is responsible for the contents on the MRC and the consequences in case things go wrong, it makes sense to let the MRC Foundation draw the lines on what we feel can and can not be done on our website.

Hi, it´s my first post. I was looking for a MSX emu for the Nintendo DS so i´ve downloaded the fMSXDS 0.06. Can someone give me an easy explanation(like if i was a ten years old) of how it works, so i can give eternal rest to my Hit Bit 201-P?
I have a Flash2advance card on my DS.

Thanks!!!QuestionQuestionQuestion
