Laserdisc Launcher added to downloads

We have just added a new Launcher to our freeware downloads database. Thanks to Giuseve's efforts it's now possible to easily select a laserdisc game in openMSX, emulating the Pioneer PX-V60. No matter how good some Konami MSX1 games have been, seeing a laserdisc game is clearly something else, and now easier than before!

Hmm, it's better to use the PX-7, instead of the PX-V60, because the PX-7 supports stereo sound!

You get stereo, just wait to load the BINARY part from LD, then it gets stereo.

The video quality is bad, I know I can do better.

Gradius: I mean the PSG sound effects are stereo on the PX-7: The PSG in the Pioneer PX-7 has the second channel connected to the left audio and the third to the right audio. The first channel can be heard in both.

I know, but then there is no point, since is only used to SFX like "BANG! CRASH!" and the likes.  Who cares if that is stereo or mono?  Isn't music, is just noise.

I just see no point to get "bang! crash!" in untrue-strereo.  Tongue

Now if it were real music (PSG for example), I would like that, but none of LD have that, they all comes from LD AUDIO.

MSX only generates that SFX I told before.

Btw, whatever I try to edit my own msg I get black mensage, so I have to cut&paste the whole thing myself (a forum bug).

Mar 21 2010 19:02:52 <Quibus>   Cool, in Rolling Blaster the shooting sound is stereo :-)
Mar 21 2010 19:03:05 <Quibus>   if you're on the left you hear it more on the left, etc. :-)

I found that very much worth it.
