Vampier has released the source code to a cheat finder for openMSX in the MRC forums. With this TCL script, you can quickly find data you'd like to change in a game (such as the amount of lives available). The complete source code and several cheats can be found right here.

Right now BiFi has joined in looking for cheats. I am already talking with the blueMSX and openMSX team about a cheat database. We just have to think up a format Smile

By the way, it's hard *not* to release the source code of a script! Smile

Maybe you can include Adriano Cunha, and the Execrom XPC patch/cheat format into the discussion. This way, we have a cheat that works easily in Emulators and Real Machines Smile

I think those cheats can be found easier with teh cheatfinder then to decode the whole thing Wink I will start working on an overall database where people can add there found cheats.
