DrWh0 released an small launcher menu for openMSX TSX Advanced on GNU/Linux. This small program allows through a friendly and simple menu:

  • Install on Ubuntu/Mint (and compatible) systems the necessary dependencies for the emulator.
  • Download and install the latest build of "openMSX TSX Advanced" for GNU/Linux x64 in your computer (imulilla).
  • Download and install the Spanish language translation of the emulator's internal OSD and the integrated improvements (DrWh0).
  • Install, configure and download system roms.
  • Run the emulator.
  • Easily and simply delete the emulator and settings to reinstall it in English language or to install another version.
  • Pseudo-portable execution in profile without installing emulator files at root level or overwrite the repository.
  • Fedora experimental support (depending on feedback other distributions will be added).

Mmm, I'm using Ubuntu for more than 10 years and that kind of news are very interesting for me although I have no skills with the O.S, only user level and I am always trying to use my real MSX1 that I have since I was a kid.
