RuMSX 0.32

Yesterday, Rudolf Lechleitner, the author of RuMSX, released version 0.32 of this well-known emulator. This version includes mostly bugfixes, while a couple of new features, such as Z80B support and detection of BASIC roms, were also added. Changes for this version include:

  • Fixed invalid paths when creating new configurations.
  • Fixed assigning of V9948 VDP top MSX2+ and turboR configurations.
  • Fixed version number of the V9958 VDP.
  • Fixed incorrect support of unavailable modes on TMS9918A / V9938.
  • Creating disk-images with DOS2 boot sector now possible.
  • Fixed repaint problems when running in background or halted.
  • Advanced options now include monitor power low/off settings.
  • Initial number of 5th/9th sprite changed to 0 (instead of 31).
  • Fixed minor bug in the RETI command.
  • Fixed VDP interrupt discarding when interrupts are disabled.
  • Support for Z80B CPU and MSX-BASIC rom cartridges.

Well, I for one am happy to see Lex has found some time to continue work on RuMSX... I still hope to find a way to convince him to make a DiskManager with DOS2 support tho... Tongue

Maybe they are talking about the 5.something Mhz of the panasonic 2+ systems.. Not that is has a Z80B.
