MSX songs played on piano | MSX Resource Center

About a week ago MRC forum regular sd_snatcher sent us a link to a Youtube video of a guy playing several Konami classics on a piano. And sure, he does a great job. But there is more. After a little browse through Youtube we found a few more very likable piano conversions of games we all know. Considering the fact those game tunes were made to be played by a machine, it says a lot of the quality of the performers.

Here's a summary of a few videos with the link tip of sd_snatcher on top.

Of course there are several more covers on real instruments of high quality. If you happen to run into one, please make note of it in the comments below.

Listening to these piano songs, one can clearly hear if they played the games on 50 or 60Hz.

The first link is not very tastefull, because of the view on the 'bouwvakkersspleet' but he is by far the best piano player with MSX covers

Think so? It's quite sloppy IMHO. Generally, I too think it's pretty awesome, ofcourse.

Another good one is Contra by Vertexguy. Great song and great arrangement!
