On his youtube channel, Hydragon has added the following replay videos:

  • Bubble Bobble: This is a replay of Super Bubble Bobble mode and has a different ending than normal mode (as a matter of fact, the "real" ending)
  • Contra
  • beta of a shmup by gh0st_jp. More information about this game can be found here

Newly added to CheatMSX is a walkthrough of Runeworth by wyrdwad. Originally posted on MRC as loose posts in a forum thread, it can now be downloaded as a pdf here

The most recent update to CheatMSX is, that it is now available in Spanish as well as its default English. Visitors can switch between the two languages at any time, simply by clicking on the corresponding flags at the right in the navigation bar.

Hydragon is looking for help with making the site available in more languages (for example Italian, Portuguese or French) and is looking for help with this. So if you are interested in helping out, feel free to contact him.

You have my vote, I can see you've done much work on updating the site. One quiestion, since most of the game do not have an in-game screenshot, why not hide it?

@TheKid last year we had a couple screenshots on the titlescreens as well, as you can see now most of the titles do have an a titlescreen image now. I've focused on them since that image also gets send along with the metadata if you share it anywhere, next focus is indeed adding more screenshots. With the MIA image I also try to trigger the visitors to help out eventually by submitting those images by e-mail. So far, not much success.

Is there a specific size and format you need them in ? 512 x 424 png for example ?

preffered 1280*960, if lower based on this scale, so I can make a thumb ( 133*100 ) out of it ( for titlescreens ). I based the size on the website on openMSX screenshots I've made. format: .png
