I saw it somewhere else (MRC?).

Anyway... zoom out.... MSX on the center, have it. MSX on the right, have it. MSX on the left... rrrr, this one's left.

Cool, but it contains errors... specs at 3:25 are wrong Tongue It's not an OPL2 (but OPL) and both have the same amount of channels.
Really? Yeah! Tongue

Yes, MSX-Music can be used in two modes: 6+3 drums or 9 channels mode. (Select with CTRL+F IIRC in MoonBlaster) and the sample channel in Music Module (used by MoonBlaster) is max 18KHz 4-bit ADPCM. (max 16KHz in manual & MoonBlaster) In Music Module there is also simple 8-bit DA converter, but that can not be used in MoonBlaster.

In drum mode, channel 7, 8 and 9 *are* the drums, but using alternative operator routing to create e.g. the hi-hat and cymbal (a 3-op algo iirc). So yes: it's either 9 regular fm channels, or 6 + drums.

Hema disks Smile

Nice video, Julian. The backmuzak is cool, using multiple MSX machines Smile
Have you ever considered using Oracle? Though a turbo R is not required, it runs smoother on such machine. Depending on how many tracks you actually assign to a song (yes, Oracle tracks are highly configurable like that).

hey ro, no it's something on the to try list actually. All muzak doesn't have multiple msx'es, just the 8250.
How well does it run on that actually, oracle ? Would be nice to try for sure.
