Especially for Dutch speaking MSXers, the Belgian MSX Club Magazine is an important part of MSX history. For quite some time it co-existed with other Dutch language MSX magazines such as MSX Mozaïk and MSX Computer Magazine. It merged with the latter to MSX Computer & Club Magazine and released its final issue late 1997.

MSX Club Magazine was published by Dainamic and surprisingly, it seems that this publisher still exists making educational software for PC platforms and Android. What's even more amazing, they haven't forgotten about their MSX past and put up a website dedicated to the history of MSX Club Magazine. It appears the former editorial staff still gets together after all these years!

It would have been really nice if they put up all the issues online, like MCM did.

I can't even begin to explain how important MSX Club Magazine was in my youth. Smile How nice that the original staff are still friends and get together once in a while.

Nice website. Cool to read.

If they are interested;
I have the original printing mal (Is that the word? I don't know in Dutch it is a: hoogdrukvorm) used by the actual printing of the (cover)title of the magazine in my possesion/collection. To me it was a great find, because of my interest in MSX in combination with (graphic)design/dtp. If they want I can send the people a picture of it to put on their website.

PS. A database with all the issues in pdf form would indeed be super to make this site complete!

I used to buy this magazine at De Boekelier in Oosterhout when I was a kid. The memories... Smile

Scans like MSX Computer Magazine would be amazing, yeah. I don't have all the issues, and I have to admit I kinda like having all MCM editions on my iPad.

Couldn't Frank Druijff play a role in this? I can't imagine he can't get all the issues together from his personal archive...

Scanning of MSX Club Magazine will start in the beginning of next year. We have ALL issues available, but it will take a while before everything is scanned... I'll keep you all informed.

You mean XSW magazine? Maybe NBNO still has them digitally? Been a subscriber to it for quite a while but it's mainly reviews. Don't know how interesting that would be though...

Looking forward to the scans of MSX Club Magazine. I don't have enough of them.
