Now that MSXdev'12 has closed, it's time to have a look at the final entries of this challenge. Subacuatic is a game created by viejo archivero of RELEVO videogames. It's based on the similar titled ZX Spectrum game by The Mojon Twins that was created between 2006 and 2009.
In Subacuatic you have to search for the 4 artifacts scattered around the bottom of the sea. Once you have everything, carry them to your boat. All the while keeping an eye on your oxygen reserves. The MSX version was fully rewritten in assembly and features redesigned graphics, colorful hardware sprites and underwater graphic effects. You can the game in action in this movie.
As is usual for MSXdev entries, the game works on any MSX and is distributed in ROM format.
