Oh, really an original idea for a shoot'em up, brilliant!. The sword requires a precise timing, cool.

nice! It's original indeed! and hard to master! I died very stupidly in my first game trying to greedily gather more energy thingies around me rather than killing enemies Big smile

At first, I didn't really understand what I was doing and how to play correctly, but it got clear enough after reading the manual (which I recommend to do before playing).

Then, I found out that I think this game is BRILLIANT. Not only because of the very original setting, but also in the way you have to figure out how to be allowed to proceed to the next realm in later levels, which is perfectly in keeping with the vedic/buddhist philosophy that permeates this product.

Also, this showcases quite deep gameplay for a game that only requires one action button.
Thanks a lot for another wonderful offering, mister Washio.

I have already seen a game very similar in an arcade version. I do not remember the name anymore. Nice adaptation!

Great game, really! Big smile
Very good playability, scrolling and game effects.
The manual is well stylized too.
My congratulations, GW! Smile Smile

If you bring the name back to your memory, just tell me here. I would like to see it.

Gameplay vaguely reminds me of Sol Divide (arcade and PS1)...

Thank you for your concern, Leandro. I read the similar mention; BUDDHAGILLE evokes Sol Divide in their mind, at a French retro game news site. I feel honored to such an appreciation.

However I must say "if BUDDHAGILLIE was called ADAPTATION of Sol Divide, any horizontal power-up shooter would be called Gradius." Therefore I believe what gdx said was not Sol Divide.

Forget what I wrote. I mentioned just a distant memory. Thank LeandroCorreia for to remind me of this. I think it was this game. It is similar but quite different.
