Hi friend. In my opinion tools like MSXDUMP are done to be used by technicians. It really helps developers and technical users.

For example, in the last few months I'm using MSXDUMP to analyse a lot of VGM files to the new software that I'm developing, the Pop!Art music player.

It has been very useful.

Soon I'll try to add new features like pattern search and other useful features.
