Alex Wulms has started working on a port of openMSX for Android. The objective is to have a first version available for demonstration purposes and to collect feedback on the user interface at the upcoming MSX fair in Nijmegen. Althoug a date for this event has not been announced yet, traditionally, this MSX annual user meeting is held in the second half of January.
The openMSX port for MSX Android will be developed using the Android NDK, which allows using C and C++ (in which openMSX is written) and a new JAVA-based frontend. For more info, see the openMSX for Android blog blog on the MSX Plaza.
