As if bankers haven't caused enough trouble already, an international banker called Ian wants to release the secretly developed U-SAM-ADE virus in order to 'domesticate' Japan. Thing is, quite a few weak humans that can not be domesticated will be killed in the process. There is a way to prevent all this from happening, and that of course is where you come in.

You play the role of Namatoro, a handsome boy from Osaka who just so it happens is the only one who can use the sacred Kusanazi sword. In the beginning of the game the super robot goddess Mazingnurse appears to you with a mission: take the popular traditional dancing girl Ohteatanecko to the top of the highest building of Japan and make her dance from midnight to 6:00 it the morning. For reasons that most likely will never be explained this will save Japan, if not the world!

The background music is a traditional melody that is performed during Bon Odori (traditional Japanese dance) and dates as far back as the 15th century.

"Skyscraper Tenoble" is a really nice game, with a game-and-watch feel all about it and packed with frantic action. The game itself indicates 2013. At the same place there are another two baa game that indicates 2014, called "The Holy Emperor" and "Demoney Icon", built around the same ideas. Nice and simple MSX games that somehow remind me of the Casio MSX games. Maybe it is the colour use or maybe it the PSG tunes, but gotta love them all! Wink

And what about Yn? Simple yet fun adventure game. Never tried the other game, Eikosan.

It's so good to find brand new japanese games for MSX(1)!

I agree with pitpan: baa is a wonderful one-man developer and his games are simple and fresh.

I bet Tenoble is actually a pun on 天のビル (sky building).
