One of the most active MSX and Castlevania-series TASers scrimpeh submitted a TAS of XL2S Entertainment's MSXdev'05 winner The Cure - finishing this platform game in 8 minutes and 40 seconds.

Such a cliche ending Tongue would have been so much better if for example it went like "Ok so the girl was saved, (insert romantic picture) but... I'm gay"

@Manuel: at the time the game was created I could run through it pretty fast, after all I tested all the levels myself. If you know where every item is located and run through a couple of hundred times you get quite good at it. Though, never finished it below the 12 min or so.
Personally I am not much of a fan of tool assisted speed (TAS) runs, more however of 'plain' speed runs (check out speeddemosarchive dot com).
Nonetheless it is Cool to look at how someone else plays the game. So thumbs up for scrimpeh.

This is such a great game. Probably one of the most impressive I have seen on MSX1 ! Nice to see all of it in a TAS because I'm not so good at playing it
