It seems that the MSX is still present at educational institutions nowadays as shown by the video recorded during an Object Oriented Programming class (2013/2014) where students have to implement DANI (Dynamic Artificial Non-Intelligence) from MSX Computing Magazine Feb/March 1987.

Really nice to see how well MSX, and especially MSX Basic, is used here to teach the basics of programming.

I remember playing hours and hours with the AI program that he demonstrated. It was great fun, but the MSX-BASIC trash collection routine made it very slow after a while... Would be fun to have a faster version with better memory allocation & memory mapper support some day though. I hope his students got in to improving things. Smile
