An illuison is only the pretended new second change.
The rest is really established . However 3 of the 6 are the same in my opinion ese msx3 , preordering and second change have the same impact and are the same subject.
Therefore a real final would go between
Moonsound
One chip second cahnce
MSX DEVO5
And infiite website launching
That's in my opinion fairSmile

Yeah it kindof sucks that 3 of 6 news in the final be the same (or extremely similar). Why not sikp this round, pick one of the 3 very similar posts and start the poll with 4 newsposts.

I think it's quite rude to call MSX related projects (either commercial or not commercial) vapourware. I'd say "just you wait and see". Why be negative all the time? So what if it's taking a long time? At least there are some people out there who are trying to make things happen. Without people like this, there never would have been Bombaman, MRC or MSXdev challenge, to name just a few of the examples...

I don't think its vapourware either. Only that the newsposts are very similar. Looking at how people voted its obvious that people think its important (and I do too). I just feel sorry for Sunrise and wolf being voted off by basically the same news.

"the ocm" could've been a fine title for all combined ocm news of last year indeed Tongue

It's like P&G, Unilever etc. all having 10 brands of washingpowder under their flag.. to make sure at least 1 brand gets sold Tongue Tongue

ahwell, who carez Cool

Well, in 'the Best MSX news megapolling game' newsposts get nominated, so newsposts on the same matter might end up high on the lists indeed. But I'm in a nice mood, so do check the final outcome in ~30 minutes Wink

sorry
One chip = chip one = whatelse = "wait and see"
(BTW I did the preordering)

About infinite
only the mp3 are missing, I have seen wings and sphere and they are great!!

They make me think to use scr2 (with colors) for an avi player on MSX 1 with pure VDP1 and PSG....

The idea is to use Vector Quantization methods for definig the color tiles and coding the video
and using pcmenc Viterbi enconding for PSG audio... I think that the result could be "experimental"
but good...
Probably the only serius way to store the data on MSX is using HD and sunrise IDE interface.
And a VQ ecoder would need a lot of RAM, and a SUPER PC, nevertheless way not to try..

Thanks for making yourself clear, Artrag. To me, there's a difference between 'vaporware' and 'wait and see' Wink

An SC2 video player would be great! But wouldn't pre-converting those videos take a lot of time, even on a fast PC?
