Earlier this year MSX Association released the MSX Game Reader, a device which allows you to play MSX games straight from cartridge in MSXPLAYer, the official MSX Emulator. In December 2003 Sunrise already announced they would develop a Game Reader based on the same designs as well, which is likely to be supported by other popular MSX Emulators. How would you like to obtain a Sunrise MSX Game Reader for free? We thought so. Do you want to know how? Read on...

The Sunrise MSX Game Reader is one of the prizes in the Bombaman Level Edit Challenge. Other things you can win are an MSX Joystick port to PSX controller convertor, Konami Usas (European version), Compile Disc Station #27 and Momonoki House Peach Up #1. To this challenge, which ends in 4 days, we have received no entries as of yet. As developing a set of 5 Bombaman levels takes very little efforts, chances are very high that if you decide to enter the competition you can win one of these prizes. Bombed, the Bombaman Level Editor, is available freely (you don't even have to own Bombaman) and a tutorial on how to create your own Bombaman levels within 10 minutes can be found over here. So, what's keeping you? The Sunrise MSX Game Reader can soon be yours...

"Free" means "for nothing", not "without money".
Spending your time creating levels is not "nothing".

Because I'm not interrested in the game reader. (I think this is probally the worst MSX related hardware relase we got in years. Hmm maybe that would be something for a mega poll.

Second prize might be nice and I'm thinking over to fix a late entry between studying however it seems that with the enthousiam of the current competition I need to actually make 2 sets to make a change for the 2nd price. hmm :-)
