It's been a long time since we have changed the poll on our website. Since July 22nd we have asked our visitors: In which period did you enjoy MSX the most? After 920 votes, here are the results:

  • 1983 - 1985: MSX1 years (30.98%)
  • 1986 - 1989: MSX2 years (33.37%)
  • 1990 - 1995: Amateur years (16.41%)
  • 1996 - 1999: Silent years (4.02%)
  • 2000 - 2003: Revival years (10.33%)
  • The best is yet to come (4.89%)

To be honest, we were quite surprised to see the 'commercial MSX years' get the most votes by far. We would like to invite you all to discuss there results in this forum thread.

This time we move on to a very elementary poll: What does (the abbreviation) MSX stand for? Happy voting!

I know it doesn't stand for this, but quite cool thought... More Software, less eXpensive.

Yes. In the eighties and first nineties people bought original MSX tapes and carts.

Now the most sold software are blank CD-Rs.
