Yesterday IBM announced a reference design of a Linux PDA. The interesting thing is that it includes an FPGA: Xilinx XCR3128XL (128 macrocells, 3000 gates). Would be useful for MSX emulation: simple but computation intensive tasks running in the FPGA (VDP, sound) and complex but less intensive tasks running on the CPU.Looking at the other specs as well, this device is pretty close to the proposed "next gen MSX".
