AAMSX and FX Software announced an MSX2 remake of the 3D isometric action-adventure Batman with a flashy trailer. In a montage based on the cult/retro Batman TV series you can spot several screenshots with in-game footage, revealing drastically improved graphics that make good use of the capabilities of the V9938. The game will be released on the 46th MSX RU meeting in Barcelona that is to be held in December 2014.

I hope this is not going to be another Gauntlet MSX2! A game only a privileged few ever get to play Crying
That left a sour taste in my mouth and nearly drove me away from the MSX scene (I'm sure other overseas users felt the same).....

Please make it available to purchase via download, or via mail order for ALL MSX lovers Wink

I completed MSX version (I guess it was a porting from ZX Spectrum) a long long time ago. Pretty neat game!
With colors it is even better.
Why do not add a FM synthesis background music too (MSX-MUSIC)?

Who is the developer of this beauty? Is there a way to contact him?

If I'm not mistaken, I think the graphics are retouched by Roberto Álvarez, a.k.a. guantxip, who also did the great Head Over Heels reworkings:
