Amazing Hydefos translation

DJANGO has teamed up with Victor Martinez to create another classic of the most famous MSX shooters. Together they translated Hertz' Hydefos which is designed for MSX2 or higher.
They offer here the download of the IPS file, which is intended for patching the original floppy disks. You can find detailed instructions for patching in this forum post.
The patch includes:

Full texts translation in Visual Scenes
Translated even the "Hidden Ending"
Translated the extra texts in "Command Mode"

Keep pressed [SELECT] at boot to force 50 Hz.

By the way, I thought I knew this game quite well, but... what hidden ending? And what is meant with the "Command Mode"?

Great, another translation. It is realy nice to finally understand what is being said. Small remark, I thought I noticed a little textual error (but I can be wrong, my english isn't that flawless either). But somewhere in the text it says .. who receive it.. and I think it needs to be .. who receiveS it.. But don't shoot me if I am wrong, that last thing I want to do is to criticize the guys who made this translation

When I press SPACE, the entire text is directly displayed by bloc. This prevents to appreciate the presentation. If I let the text scroll, with almost half a second per character, it becomes too long. This slowness is normal when Kanji are displayed but not with letters.

When I try to use lunar IPS it tells me the ips files are not ips files?? So it won't patch the disks. I tried the online ips tool, but it can not patch the disks either. Does anybody else have the same problems ? Are the ips files correct?

Okay, just played it through, saw the hidden ending and very much enjoyed this experience. Thanks so much, DJANGO and Victor.
I do have some suggestions on how to improve upon this:

In later areas, the Command Mode dialogue will still (or again) be in Japanese
The antagonist's name (ファルス) is consistently translated as "Fars" in the cutscenes, but the in-game dialogue (specifically in area 6) states his name to be "C.I.C. Phallus" (See, I see phallus?).
So, where it says "Fars", it should actually be "Phallus" (no, I'm not making this up)
To clean up several English grammar mistakes such as "You are injury", correct slight nuances like "insane" instead of "crazy" and especially confusing/undecipherable sentences such as "Please, stop and come back" (it absolutely doesn't make any sense in the context).
To give another example, I'm quite sure that in the opening, it says: "Thanks! You're a true godsent protector" instead of "May God protect you"

But hey, really great work. I actually got a bit emotional seeing an additional ending cutscene (and in English!) to a game that I've always loved so much. Especially realizing how it plays out storywise, and that the password to unlock the secret ending, "AITAI", actually means "I miss you/I want to see you".
