Once upon a time, a fierce battle between the Mercies and Ruth armies raged. Yet, something didn't seem right. In the midst of combat, both parties agreed that the action could do with a bit more smoothness. They retired to their bases, prayed to their respective gods for this, and suddenly, with a strike of lightning, gdx appeared, and in his hands, there was a means to improve the movement of their troops.
Both factions rejoiced, and the war commenced, more smoothly than ever...

Apply this patch to your Herzog disk to enjoy an improved flow in this great strategy action game.

Oh yeah, I remember, some 7 years ago, hints and strategies to help with the game were shared:

Please try again. The original download link has a bracket in the url, and I can't seem to override the parsing.

Not MSX related, but just a small tip for people who like to play these kind of games. If you like Herzog, the most modern variant available is called Airmech. It is a free to play game if you want to try it out.
https://www.carbongames.com/airmech/home.html
but if you like it, I would suggest you support the developers by buying extra mechs and other aesthetic additions :)

I'm not sure why the link differs from the link GDX posted himself in the forum thread? (And why a new comment instead of editing the one you made a minute earlier?)
