Those of you who recall the MSX2 remakes of Alien 8 and Knight Lore will have the detailed and outstanding graphics still burnt in their memory for sure. The people behind Retroworks clearly know their skills, and what do you do with such skills? You continue to amaze the crowd!

Yesterday, Retroworks have announced to be working on a new project, a new remake of La Abadía del Crimen. Although it bears the same name, it's going to be a new concept using the same graphical style. Not only will the game be inspired by the original game and Umberto Eco's book, it will also be inspired by the award winning film The Name of the Rose (starring Sean Connery). There's some artwork on the website of Retroworks, and if that is going to be what the game will look like, then it'll surely raise some eyebrows and open a choir worth of mouths. In an animation on the same website you can actually see a Sean Connery look-a-like walking, a stunning resemblance for the few pixels it occupies.

If that's so, then it's even more obvious that it *should* come to MSX2 Tongue
