M-Kai software added to downloads database

A request on our forums for the shooters by Japanese game developer M-Kai led to a discussion on where to get these games. As we reported earlier these games were available for download on the author's website. Unfortunately, with the disappearance of that site the games could no longer be downloaded. With some help from our community we were able to solve this.

We have added the following games to our downloads database:

  • Izumic Ballade (1996) - a Role Playing Game
  • Kyokugen (1997) - a fast vertical scrolling shoot 'em up, includes the Sanriku King bonus disk
  • Pleasure Hearts (1999) - a side scrolling shoot 'em up game with mindblowing speed, huge numbers of enemies and very nice graphical effects

All games are in Japanese and can be downloaded from our downloads database.

If you have any other freely distributable MSX software that's no longer available for download, don't hesitate to upload it to our downloads database. That way we can preserve more MSX software and let everybody enjoy it!

Relevant links: Izumic Ballade, Kyokugen, Pleasure Hearts

hap ordered me to place them like this Evil

Anyways, I changed the text of the newspost and the download to reflect this. You can now also find Sanriku with a simple search on the site.

Nice find.
The x360 is getting quite a lot of shmup love in Japan. It's like a Dreamcast.
