Metal Gear 1 DynamicVsync patch

Brazilian MSX fan sd_snatcher just released a new patch: it implements the DynamicVsync timing routine on Konami's legendary Metal Gear 1, allowing the game to run on faster machines. The turbo will be enabled by default on any machine that has the standard CHGCPU routine in its BIOS (like the turbo-R): This will grant you quicker screen changes.

But there are even more fixes: pressing [space] will speed up text dialogs, while pressing [tab] throttles the game speed. Note that crowded game areas require a fast machine for the latter feature.

indeed... nice patch. I have one small report.... pick up an item that generates a text (card1/gas mask) ... try to read what you just picked up...

@Vampier

Isn't this bug present on the original Japanese ROM @3.57MHz? AFAIK, it's there too.

The English Retranslation patch fixes this: the game then will require you to press M to get rid of the textbox.

Please read the included README.TXT file on how to apply both patches.
