A person who calls himself 6502man has shown a new game in development on the GamoPat forum. The game is called New York Kung-Fu 1987 and is being developed for MSX2, with extra features on MSX2+. It is a scrolling beat em up with lateral scroll similar to Irem's title "Vigilante".

I like it! The timing of the main sprite movement is a bit off for the animation but the game looks really good. Nice job!

Looks very nice. Love some of the sprite designs, I would change the "beaten" enemy sprites animation, the flickering seems off.
I would play this for sure Cool

to 6502man:
hello, I've been reading the thread, (by the google translator)
There is a reference: "Mais attention sur une même ligne horizontale on ne peut mettre au maximum that 4 sprites et sur tout l'écran 32, à moins que j'ai mal lut datasheet.
", which I think is wrong.
in sc4-sc8 modes (12 in 2+), the limit of sprites is 8 in line (32 on screen) with one color per line, I invite you to see the work of kai magazine in this link.
The Sorrow of Gadhlan 'Thur
sprites on msx2:
Sprites: 32, 16 colors (1 color per line), maximum 8 per horizontal line
