After months of development, Oniric Factor, known from Dribol, publishes their first MSX game of the year. It's an MSX2 platformer with mechanics very similar to titles like City Connection, but with certain peculiarities.
The game consists of fifteen levels divided into three different sections, which keep adding new types of enemies that will force you to change your playing strategy. It also has a level building engine that makes it especially interesting and replayable, as each session will be different from the previous one.
Another innovation over their previous titles is that the game finally brings PSG in-game music, by none other than veteran composer WYZ MSX.

Very nice.
One tip: Copy the content on a DOS1 formatted disk if you own a turboR to avoid the R800 to be switched on. This makes it quite more playable on certain machines Smile

Pretty display of graphics resources! Definitely charming! I will try it, to see how it sounds too.

Very fun to play! I can't run the DSK directly from SofaRun somehow, but I copied all the files in it to a directory and just ran AUTOEXEC.BAS from SofaRun and that works. Then rebooted and ran it again in Z80 mode. Tongue

The game looks really well and I like that there are different themes for the levels. It's pretty hard right from the start because those green enemies can be a little tricky. The only thing I'm not a fan of, is that you keep jumping if you hold space. A new key press for every jump would've given me more control, I think. Still, I'm enjoying the heck out this! Thanks! Smile

SpringWarrior.dsk and SpringWarriorRU.dsk. What's the difference between the two versions?

Music credits goes to Oniric Factor. I only helped to WYZPlayer integration in NestorBasic code. Running Naked in a Field of Flowers

Really nice game, good graphics and fun and challenging gameplay. Basic right? Nice job!

Btw, it runs too fast on turboR…
