In this forumthread we announced the return of the 'Scroll and logo demos'. Some forummembers decided to team up and started creating a really old school MSX-scene demo. Latok, one of the msx.org crewmembers, volunteered to program the whole demo, he isn't that much of a programmer, though. In fact, he has never programmed a smooth scroll before. Soon, this new MSX demogroup will start a thread in the msx.org forums in which they will talk about their findings, their progress and their difficulties they encounter during the making of this demo. Hopefully, this will encourage other msx freaks, who don't consider themselves being msx professionals but do enjoy the creative side of MSX, to go and give it a try themselves.
Even before a single byte of this new demo has been written, some real MSX die-hards got inspired by the idea and started making a 'Scroll and logo demo' themselves. And here we have the result already! Team Bomba, or should we say Team Woei, proudly presents a real old fashioned MSX-scene demo, named 'WOEI'. What are you waiting for?! Download the demo, turn on your speakers and start reading the scroll to see if you're in them greetings!
More information on this demo and Bombaman, Team Bomba's upcoming game, can be found at Bombaman HQ
