Our new member Superkuli pointed us to this new multi platform text adventure. Thank you very much!

The Queen's Footsteps is a text adventure game running on many vintage platforms.
Davide Bucci included a lot of historical facts in this story, based in 1920's Italy.

This interactive fiction game is based on commands typed in a relatively natural language.
If you are interested in what is historical and what is invented in the game, have a look at this article.

The game is divided in four parts. When you complete one of them, you will get a code that allows to immediately jump to the beginning of the next part. Write down that to resume the game in the future. Passwords are important. On some platforms, you can save and load the game (use save and load commands).

Unfornatualy there is no physical MSX release by now but you can download the digital version on the developer's website.
The Polyplay store provides releases for a great amount of other retro plattforms.

Davide Bucci ask to let him know about typos, errors and bugs in the game.

LOL... Those are not the MSX screenshots. This is the MSX loading screen:

And since the distributed files are not that easy to play, you can find the online version of this game HERE.

Maybe you can use the single CAS file I made? Or just make 3 separate files?

There's already the three CAS files included. Ones without loading screen and ones with. A friend just tried the Loading screen version on his Yamaha CX5m with 32k on board and it loaded perfectly.
