Malaya's Treasure

Ever wanted to go treasure hunting in some far away place? Now you can from the comfort of your own home with the translation of Malaya no Hihou. Explore the forests, the caves and the many villages along the way. Perhaps you will be the one to uncover the legendary treasure. Aside from the translation, the patch also includes a turbo mode and several bug fixes for minor flaws in the game.

An update for the Welcome to Heaven (Tengoku Yoitoko) patch is released as well. Turbo mode is now enabled by default (but can be switched off) and small bugs related to the English title screen and the language select have been fixed.

Thanks for both translations!

A tip for optimizing the screen-changing on Tengoku Yoitoko (welcome to Heaven) would be to disable the sprites on VDP register#8 while the background is being drawn. The game doesn't show the sprites at this point, so there should be no problem on doing this.

For an even faster screen-change, the Konami approach can be taken: the entire screen is disabled using the register#1.

I playing in this moment to Malaya, and i found a bug. The monsters, traps, and swamp doesn´t damage the character. Only the water.

I suspect that you also applied the trainer patch by accident. Read the text file to see which is which.

I wonder btw, what is the use of also having the archive available as RAR?
People who have RAR can also extract ZIP and I wouldn't call 1,5K a big enough difference to also have RAR available?
