Popeye (SLotman)

Correction: it is not Popeye, but "Popeye´s English Game" or "Popeye Lingo Game", like title screen says. Surely it may be good for learning some words of different language, at least if you can speak japanese already, but I still would play original Popeye instead! Smile

The Game is "Popeye Lingo Game" indeed. But it's not only good for learning Japanese - you can actually choose in which language the hint and the word you must guess will be. Tongue

Which one is the original name? Lingo or English? Or both?

The original name is Popeye no Eigo Asobi

what means Popeye's English Game.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popeye_no_Eigo_Asobi

It has been called Popeye Lingo Game by people who made the NES English translation.

Well, I don't care what the original game name is - it's not a direct port, so I can call it whatever I want Wink
The MSX version *is* Popeye Lingo Game.

I just asked it because matra´s advertising shows both names. Smile I think this is a nice little curiousity, game which has two names. Smile Personally I don´t need this game, but it´s nice that you have done one more MSX game, Slotman. Smile

By the way, Slotman, have you got my email about Blinky´s Scary School? I think I have emailed samelike email to you earlier also, no reply yet, though.

MaSaXi: I've got your email Smile

It's on my "to-reply" queue - I'm very busy right now trying to organize a "brazilian gaming fair" amongst other things Smile
