screen 8 smooth horizontal scrolling

what is the hw you used?
60hz or 50hz?

screen8_2010_02_20.rar has a new tileset with 48 colors
and could have fixed the glitch seen or real HW
This version works also with height of the screen 160!
Vertical scrolling is WIP: now the level has two floors
(now pressing UP and down plays havoc into the screen)

Actually I see in your video some small black lines in the wall that appears only when moving left
Can you confirm they are there only when moving left and not when moving right?

I think that the problem has to do with the fact that the vblank routine interrupts the inline routine while VDP commands are in execution and changes R#18...
VDP does strange things then R#18 is changed and copies are in execution
Going to investigate on how to avoid the problem

Manuel: in msxdos2 there are some strange loading problems
In R800 mode large sections of the files are not loaded correctly
In z80 mode some parts of the scorebar are missing....

Actually in order to have the cpm library to work I had to provide an hand made bmove routine
Could I have done something wrong?

In the files that are in the RAR, uncompressed SD card with DOS2, not to load, there are sprites, but not the background.

If amount in an image file to DSK DOS1 containing the RAR if it works properly, that is why there is always emulated by DSK.
