If anyone is experiencing choppy audio in the latest version of fMSX-Android, please respond.
New fMSX and fMSX-Deluxe versions are out. These should finally fix Samsung Galaxy SII issues. Whoever has Galaxy SIIs, please, test and report in this thread. Other important addition is the new, better visible, virtual joystick in the portrait mode.
For the new installations, the portrait mode will now engage automatically when you turn your device vertically. Existing users may want to switch Settings->Orientation to "auto".
Have you tested it with the SCC rom of Gyruss (look at the news in MRC) ?
It works for a while, than it gives strange audio problems (missing channels probably)

Changes, since the last update to this forum thread:
- Added ability to open files with my other emulators (i.e. VGBA, iNES, etc).
- Added support for ZIP files.
- Made corner buttons thinner to avoid overlaps.
- Added configurable fast-forward button.
- Made screenshot sizes uniform.
- Added configurable custom key mappings.
- Added optional haptic feedback.
- Restored MENU button on Android Honeycomb.
- Finger joystick now shows up on tablets in portrait orientation.
Enjoy and have a Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, fms !
fMSX on Android becomes better and better with each release.
Now some suggestions for the future versions:
Finger joystick is cool, but it seems diagonals are not working.
Also it would be nice if you could make 3x3 arrows grid in landscape mode smaller on tablets, or with a configurable size.
And... I miss STOP button, cannot find it.

Diagonals are working for me. Try harder.

Yeah, working on it.
>And... I miss STOP button, cannot find it.
You mean, MSX STOP button? If you have a physical keyboard, it will be at PageUP. For the virtual keyboard, looks like I will have to add it.
PS: Anyway I can disable the brave new look of this forum UI and return to the previous, dull, but usable version? Who came up with this unusable garbage, anyway?

You cannot disable it. However, if you would explain in more detail what is bothering you exactly, I bet the forum admin can take a look to see if he can improve things for you (and everyone else).
"Giving feedback is not easy for every one", keeps being proven again and again, it seems.

I would like to be able to use standard BB codes like
, etc, rather than the WYSIWYG controls. Furthermore, I would like to be able to edit a post after I have submitted it. The old interface offered both features. The new interface does not appear to.
Afaik it's possible to edit a post within 30 mintutes. If that's not possible, then it's a bug for Jorito's zoo
I have been thinking about making the WYSIWYG editor optional, and supporting bbcodes. For normal commenting it shouldn't be that hard, for replying and quoting it might give some problems. I'll discuss it with the rest of the team.
