The Coral
Jet
The Strokes
White Stripes
Belle&Sebastian
Daryll-Ann
I Am Kloot

These are bands from whom I recently bought material, so it gives a clue, I think. Hmmmmm, didn't we have a social talk about this before? Tongue

John Williams
Ellioth Goldenthal
Jerry Goldsmith ( but that highly depends on the movie, most actions movies are boring)
Hans Zimmer (the rest of MV are lousy copycats)
It would be more accurate to list a number of movie/soundtracks, but that would be a bit much Smile, a few individual gems are Chess and Les Miserables. atm 'The Mysts of Avalon' is in the cd player.
Loreena McKennith
Vangelis
Jarre (the old ones, not the recent stuff)
Oldfield (the old ones, not the recent stuff, tho TB2003 is cool again)
Parsons (the old ones, not the recent stuff)

Amazing, some artists can't combine modern technology with their original sound.

And a number of classic composers .. usually all from the romantic era until the era in which music became experimental 'art' Smile

didn't we do such topics a few time before.. oh, well I'll look in that gap again...

- Tool (can't descripe it, marvelous. I should tell you about the genious and all but not gonna, find out yourself)
- J. Coltrane (legendary... one of my fave jazz records came from him)
- Living Colour (recent new album is BRILL!!)
- Pain Of Salvation (yep, some sort of prog.rock but with that extra something)
- Primus (duh!)
- Counting Crows (always good)
- Meshuggah (love them riffs, the power.. excellent prog.metal)

These are the things I listen too mostly these days, but it may vary.
