Maggoo, I saw the same problem on an emulated TurboR and 8250 on openMSX. It seems to wrap around the game map.

Correct, and the problem is now fixed :-)
Anyway, for a RPG, I'd focus less on scrolling and speed (what this engine is about), and more on storyline / nice GFX (not screen4) / atmosfear .Well, I am not talking about a RPG. I'm talking about a plataform game with a few RPG points, like some dialogs with pictures(not so much, just to give a basic plot through the stages; no choices) and a small menu with items to use or equipment of weapons. Also the life of the player should be based on HP points. As I said just like Castlevania SOTN but much more basic line. I don't know if I'm explaining correctly.
I think that I would be to have this little stuff on VScreen once the engine is fully developed.

Also happens in blueMSX btw
Ok, I just tested VScreen and I got some questions
1.) Would it be possible to port the VScreen Editor PC to the Amiga ?? I use an Amiga 1200 PPC as my main computer and I really would like to try to create a game
2.) Is it possible to create bigger player sprites ? For example use two sprites as one ?
3.) What´s the easiest way to create music for my own games ? Tools/Apps/Any suggestions ???

Yeah there was a bug in the code I just fixed it. It will be available with the final release of 0.8 (some other bugs are remaining).

Well you can edit level with the MSX level editor. It's a more tedious but it works. The PC editor has been written with Blitz Basic, I think there is also a version of Blitz for the Amiga so if you feel like porting it, be my guest :-)

It should be possible. Only issue is that the number of sprite is limited (because many are used to hide the clipping effect on the borders), so that means less sprites for enemies.

The current music music replayer is the Moonblaster replayer so you can use the moonblaster editor to create music. For sound effect you can use SEE.

Welcome to my world, it was some helluva work to do in the first place But hey, no thrill, no win...
What version of Blitz are you using for Windows ? I used Blitz 3D, tested with WINXP and WIN2000. I can send you the executable if needed.
I used no Blitz on PC, I just downloaded the Executable from your page
I´ll see if I get an Win2000 PeCe at work tomorrow to test if it´s working there .... maybe a Win9X issue ??
Does anyone has Retroman's email address ? I need to contact him and lost his email address in a Harddisk crash :-(
