Problem: red on yellow MSX logo

I have two identical computers: Sony MSX2 HB-F1XD. Both work fine, but one of them has a strange boot MSX logo. MSX letters are white on red background, and the border is yellowish-brownish.

I recently saw similar defect here: cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=21084&item=5113879063

What could be the reason of this problem? I suspect dead capacitors, but need help anyway.

Go to BASIC and type:

SET TITLE "",1

If problem reappears later, change RTC battery.

SET TITLE "",1 --> Black logo on blue background
SET TITLE "",2 --> Blue logo on green background
SET TITLE "",3 --> Purple logo on pink/red background
SET TITLE "",4 --> Red logo on yellow background

But ermh why the MSX devolopers did that option? jut for fun or is there a special reason why user can set a different startup color boot??

well you can set a password so that your kids can not play without your permision, untill they know how to ignore that pass with that 2 keys

it would fill up the specs list, nothing more. it's completely useless.
(however back in the days when every computer shop did sell MSX2 computers it was fun to just: set tittle password / color 0,0,0 / width 1 / set screen
just to fuck around.. . .dunno, we we're kids (uhm, 16 years or so?? )so excuse our childish behaviour.
