I second hap for all his suggestions.

Besides, the front page needs also to be redesigned, but I think I've already mentioned this problem.

Thanks for your feedback, hap! interestingly, we were discussing and testing quite a few of the suggestions you made internally as wel!. We're not completely satisfied just yet, but you can expect some lay-out improvements in the near future!

please let us know if you (all of you reading this) have any further thoughts, annoyances, suggestions or feature requests! your feedback is much appreciated.

For some reason, eBay ads are shown again for me. I looked into my settings, but I can't find the setting anymore either... I've had them off for years.

..or just ignore them, develop a form of blindness for those. But that one moment you actually see that rare MSX on eBay, or that Metal Gear 2 for 30 euro (attic cleanup at some old lady who knows shit) it may prove to be useful.

When I look for MSX items on ebay, I usually exclude "Memory Stick" and other irrelevant terms in the search query.
It's simple, just use minus sign:

MSX -"Memory Stick"

'Reactions to news bits' is a no no. News bits are quick headlines to keep people informed, with a link to the source. But nothing more than that. They're for news that's less international (e.g. the release of a local club magazine in NL isn't very interesting for MSX users in Brazil) and for news which is so small or insignificant that it's pointless to create a regular newspost out of it (e.g. an emulator update with 1 deep system update, so not even something you can see, or group x registering a booth for a fair like they do each year). Now, if Nishi registers a booth for e.g. Nijmegen, then it's of course something else. But then there is something to write about, because Nishi doesn't register a booth for Nijmegen just like that, so we write about that specific reason then.

For product updates the switch from 1.0 to 1.1 is more interesting than the switch from 1.0 to 1.0058, and the big version changes of course do get a regular newspost.

So, as long as a news fact is major, it'll get a major newspost, in which you can react 'till you drop. And there's always the forum in which one can open a thread, if that person really feels like writing about a tweet.

There is a problem with Carriage Return in the editor.

It looks like to get an empty line, you need to type two empty lines.

edit: looks like the bug has changed to needing three lines. edit: but not always.

Again testing TABs in code
</div>
<div>
    ;1 tab</div>
<div>
    loop:</div>
<div>
    outi</div>
<div>
    ;2 tabs</div>
<div>
    djnz loop</div>
<div>

edit: so that is gone, too. I cant prepare any articles any more that contain code. It can happen that I sit on an article for an hour. This work cannot be left to crashing browsers, it must be done on the client where I can SAVE.
